If you have 2+ years of experience in mobile marketing and hands on knowledge of platforms such as Twilio or AirShip, then youve got the right stuff. Youd be joining a Marketing Operations team that supports a life-saving mission as part of the nations second largest blood bank. Vitalant saves lives and improves patient outcomes by providing blood products to 900+ hospitals in 28 states.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:




Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for functional business support of assigned marketing automation application(s). Serves as an internal consultant to resolve functional problems and implements improvements to application usage or processes. Supports text (SMS & MMS) and mobile app messaging initiatives by ensuring campaigns are created and sent out at most productive times. Partners with national marketing team to build and execute SMS/MMS and mobile app messaging strategy for the enterprise. Responsibilities may expand to include other marketing channels such as email, outbound calling, BVR, digital media and direct mail as needed.




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.




Assures quality customer service to all customers.




Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.




Interfaces with other project staff to ensure project completion (e.g., shares knowledge, ensures effective communication).




Complies with change control processes through project completion.




Consults with Digital Marketing Team in development of test plans and executes tests to ensure proper results measurement and reporting.




Serves as subject matter expert for assigned applications.




Develops and performs data extraction and data maintenance using approved tools for end users.




Coordinates and interfaces with vendors to ensure business needs are met.




Responsible for generation of mobile lists and campaigns based on Marketing plan.




Executes and monitors multiple mobile campaigns in real time.




Manages deployments against channel budget.




Provide insight on mobile messaging by capturing and analyzing data/KPIs and then working with Program Director of Mobile Marketing to adjust as needed.




Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.




REQUIREMENTS:




Knowledge/Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.




Licenses/Certifications
Marketing automation certification preferred.




Experience
Two years experience with marketing automation or mobile messaging/SMS platforms such as Acoustic, Adobe CX/Marketing Cloud, AirShip, Attentive, Birdseye, HubSpot, Mobile Commons, Oracle Eloqua or Twilio required.
Experience within a marketing organization that uses email, mobile app and SMS/MMS Text messaging as key communication channels required.
Database management and list creation experience preferred.
