Your Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the flow of materials to and from their assigned segment area
Frequently sample weight components and enter the weight into the material master data in SAP
Have the ability to look up materials for location and quantity in SAP
Book material from one storage area to a Production Supply Area (PSA) and vice versa
Follow up on inventory inaccuracies and to help implement improvements in systems and procedures to improve these in the SAP system
Support the other segments drivers by staging material from the block store areas and by staging packaging material for the segments
Safely operate material handling equipment and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
Use hands to maneuver objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance
Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds based on component specifications
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Your Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
SAP
Digital scales
CRT
Equipment operations
Computer literate
Tow motor license or certification
Mechanically inclined
Inventory and management functions
PPS shop floor control
Kanban systems
Communication ability
