Job Description:
We are seeking a talented, self-driven and motivated software engineer to be part of the Vivado IP Integrator team. Vivado IP Integrator is a revolutionary system design environment which raises the design abstraction enabling ourcustomers to dramatically accelerate the design and verification of complex systems implemented in our All Programmable FPGAs and SoCs. These systems are deployed in a wide variety of applications in communications, automotive, medical, aerospace and defense, test and measurement and more.
Fully integrated with our industry leading Vivado Design Suite, Vivado IP Integrator is the next generation environment for graphical, correct-by-construction, IP centric system design. Built from the ground up using cutting edge industry standard technologies, IP Integrator delivers powerful capabilities such as intelligent auto-connection of IP interfaces, Designer Assistance, one-click IP subsystem generation and real-time DRCs combined with powerful verification and debug capabilities. Used in conjunction with our rich IP catalog and their own IP, customers can construct sophisticated processor and non-processor systems without ever writing a line of RTL code.
As a member of this talented high-performance team the selected candidate will be responsible for developing innovative new product features designed to enable customers to build ever more complex systems faster and easier. He or she will be involved in all aspects of product development; design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and productization. The IP Integrator team operates in a fast-paced start-up like environment offering each of its members immense personal opportunity to contribute to the state of the art in system design and to grow their knowledge and skills in product development and software engineering. In developing products such as IP Integrator our software engineers also have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and adoption of our silicon into new and exciting end customer applications.
Qualifications:
Strong software development and debug skills.
Demonstrated fluency in C/C++, data structures and algorithms is required
Demonstrated fluency in scripting (Tcl or similar) is required
Experience in production software development on Linux and Windows desired.
Familiarity with IP based design flows and SoC design and with industry standards such as AMBA AXI and IP-XACT is desired
Familiarity with Hardware modeling languages like VHDL or Verilog is desired
Familiarity with FPGA architectures, tool flows, and implementing FPGA designs is desired
Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving ability.
Must be able to excel in a team environment
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working across organizational boundaries and multiple geographies is desired
Academic Credentials:
Bacheors of Science in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 plusyears of experience ORMaster of Science in Computer Science or Engineering with 3 plus years of experience.
