**Description** Assist with maintenance of Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS) servers/consoles in support of DEA- and Board of Pharmacy (BoP)-compliant remote medication dispensing in Hospice IPU settings. Support implementation project management. Assist with maintenance of point-of-use pharmacy product file systems to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives **Responsibilities** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Assist with maintenance of Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS) console/server settings for IPU ADS clients + Maintaining ADS server formulary tables and medication settings in compliance with DEA and BoP regulations. + Maintaining Xeris IPU product tables + Maintaining ADS server system settings such as, but not limited to, frequency code tables, user tables, etc. + Provide support for ADS Clients with product questions or issues. + Collaborate with IT/Network team to trouble shoot ADS connectivity onboarding / implementation and ongoing (maintaining) + Assist with monitoring product data files and system settings for point of use pharmacy product file systems. + Monitoring data and settings, alerting IPU Leadership when discrepancies occur, assist with coordinating resolutions with IT/Vendor/Client support as necessary + Report preparation and analysis + Assist with preparation of point-of-use pharmacy product file systems reports for management, clients or others as requested. + Assist with preparation of annual ADS inventory reporting + Assist with preparation of analytical reporting to ensure proper utilization of inventory and optimal use of ADS systems + Assist with review of analytical data with clients to determine appropriate par level changes and formulary changes + Assist with implementation of new IPU ADS clients and system upgrades for point-of-use pharmacy product file systems at the direction of IPU leadership + Project planning: participate in conference calls, collaborate with vendor and client to help design ADS systems in accordance with DEA and BOP regulations. + System Build: Assist with preparation of product files, medication stock lists, drawer mapping, system setup, internal user management, etc. + Go-Live Support: assist with onsite support including loading medications into ADS, reviewing policies and procedures with nursing staff and nursing management, and supporting nursing staff while transitioning to new ADS systems. + Create appropriate education materials and provide inter-company information related to ADS / IPU systems, including internal user training materials for IPU technician troubleshooting education + Provide support and guidance to ADS Compliance Team, including review of trend reports and identification of opportunities for client education + Provide reporting support to clinical management and client analytics team + Coordinate ADS support training for internal IPU department / team + Participate in on-call coverage rotation + Support preparation of ADS inventory reporting for Finance as needed / required **Qualifications:** + Ability to interact and effectively communicate with multiple departments within the organization, business partners, and clients + Effective verbal and written communication skills required **Education and/or Experience:** + 5 years of related pharmacy experience + Experience in a healthcare environment preferred + Experience managing drug product files in multiple remote locations + Pyxis knowledge required + Omnicell knowledge required **Computer Skills:** + Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Demonstrated general proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Power Point + Familiarity with remote connectivity methods (e.g. PCAnywhere, Dameware, VPN) + Great Plains experience preferred **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations** + CPhT required **Travel** + 15% **Physical Demands:** May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
