Infosys is seeking an DWBI Principal Consultant with data analytics experience. The position will primarily be responsible for identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will be a part of the larger architecture group that sets the strategy, direction and standards for large scale Big Data analytics platform which is on a transformation journey to become self-serve, API driven and containerized. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

11 years of experience with Information Technology.
8 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
5 years of hands-on experience Azure Big-data stack including Spark batch, Structured Streaming, Apache Flink, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Kafka, Databricks.
5 years of experience with Big Data & Analytics solutions - Azure SQL Server / Synapse, Azure Cortana Analytics, Azure Data Lake and other technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint
8 years of experience in Design and architecture review
3 years of experience in ETL/ELT processing and familiarity with Talend, Informatica,
Familiarity with Data governance tools & processes
Familiarity with Advanced Analytics Processes such as ML Modelling
3 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
Knowledge and experience with Cloud and containerization technologies: Azure ML, Kubernetes and Dockers
Experience administrating large-scale distributed applications using Hadoop
Industry certifications in Big Data, Data Science, Cloud
Architect and Design experience in Data Lake, Delta Lake and Data Science platform architecture using Azure ML, JupyterHub, Python and Spark in clustered environment
Experience in Scala, Python, PySpark, SparkR, Big Data ML toolkits such as TensorFlow, SparkML or H2O
Experience in data virtualization/federation (Presto), data ingestion/wrangling tools (Talend/Alteryx/Trifacta) in heterogenous environment (Hadoop, RDBMS, NoSQL etc.)
Support users with troubleshooting, tuning queries (partition, bucket recommendations etc.),
Strong UNIX/Linux working experience including the ability to understand the interaction between tools/applications and the operating system
Background in all aspects of software engineering with strong skills in parallel data processing, data flows, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and micro service architecture
Strong understanding and hands-on programming/scripting experience skills - UNIX shell, Perl, and JavaScript
Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
CI / CD exposure
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires regular travel
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
Experience managing team size of 4-5 would be a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
