Our Network Core and Infrastructure Services team is searching for a seasoned Network Engineer who will be responsible for the EMS and Network Management Architecture and Design of its LightSpeed IP Edge and Core Network. The LightSpeed network supports the consumer broadband markets as well as the Enterprise and Small Business markets. Youll work with a small team of Labs NM System Engineers (3-4 SE) to bring your strategic vision and drive the ETE NM solution.


**Key responsibilities:**


+ Nokia SAM/NSP architecture and design

+ EMS scale, security, and resiliency assessment

+ Define API North bound interfaces NSP-OSS

+ Develop NM plans highlighting key operations features supporting specific LightSpeed releases

+ Working with vendors on release roadmaps

+ Define EMS/NSP Golden configuration

+ Support operations with new tools to drive further automation into AT&Ts network.


**Education:** Minimum of MS degree in EE or Computer Science and 7 years of experience, or BS degree in EE or Computer Science and 10 years of experience.


**Required Skills:**


+ 7-10+ years of related experience

+ Hands-on experience with EMS platforms, specifically NOKIA SAM/NSP.

+ Expert level knowledge with Network Management protocols, Information Modeling, Netconf/Yang, TMF/TMN/MEF/ISO/ITU Framework, VMware/KVM virtualization, Compute platforms, Rest API, Public/Open API, Private API, etc.

+ Working knowledge of Enterprise networking, routing protocols, VPN and Internet services, triple-play Broadband services, and Cloud-based services.


**Desired Skills:**


+ Ability to lead diverse technical teams and work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team with minimal supervision.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills.

+ Experience interacting with vendors and driving AT&T business and Operations requirements into vendor products.
