We are seeking a mid-career to senior, **cleared or clearable Computer Systems Architect** with knowledge of Information Assurance processes and the ability to quickly learn procedures per Northrop Grumman Information Security and Contract Security organizations. Ideal candidates will possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. The applicant will be expected to support a variety of diverse, and dynamic environments. The position requires supporting multiple engineering areas that have incorporated COTS hardware and operating systems with custom applications into their test systems and operational products.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Administration of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu) servers and workstations
+ Administration of Windows workstations and servers (Win10, and Win2016/2019)
+ Administration of Networking equipment (Cisco switches, firewalls, or similar)
+ Administration of VMware environments and storage appliances (i.e. NetApp or similar)
+ Installing, configuring, and supporting Engineering applications (GitHub, Atlassian, Jenkins, etc)
+ Installing, configuring, and supporting Communication/Administration applications (Exchange, Office, Mattermost, etc)
+ Use of Compliance and Remediation tools (i.e. Nessus, SCC SCAP Scanner, STIG Viewer)

**Basic Qualifications for Principal Architect level:**

+ 5+ years of relevant systems management experience with a STEM Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years of experience with a STEM Master's degree
+ US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
+ Experience administering Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu) servers and workstations
+ Experience administering VMware environments and storage appliances (i.e. NetApp or similar)
+ Able to work in Beavercreek, OH up to 1 day per week

**Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Architect Level:**

+ 9+ years of relevant systems management experience with a STEM Bachelor's degree; or 7+ years of experience with a STEM Master's degree; or 5+ years of experience with a STEM PhD. Degree
+ US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
+ Experience administering Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu) servers and workstations
+ Experience administering VMware environments and storage appliances (e.g. NetApp or similar)
+ Able to work in Beavercreek, OH up to 1 day per week

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
+ Meets DOD 8570 IAT Level 2+ requirements for security certs or be in the process of obtaining one. (e.g. CISSP, Security+, CASP, etc.)
+ Solid understanding of computer networking (OS configuration, Network switches, Firewalls, Cisco IOS)
+ Performing Backups and Restores using COTS and Open Source tools to implement a disaster recovery plan (Windows and Linux)
+ Implementation of CMMC/DFARS/RMF/DOD Security Controls on Linux and Windows operating systems (e.g. Windows SHB and RHEL SSG builds)
+ Building, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems hardware (i.e. Workstations, Servers, Storage appliances, network switches, rack & stack)
+ Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices (e.g. Configuration Management, Atlassian Tool Suite, etc.)
+ Familiarity with database administration (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB)
+ Working experience with scripting languages and automation, such as Bash, Ansible, and/or PowerShell
+ Experienced with SAN/NAS hardware (e.g. NetApp, Linux and Windows file servers, storage appliances)
+ Docker/Kubernetes experience

Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00Salary Range 2: $114,300.00 - $171,500.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
