From E-commerce to Mobile Devices & Home Appliances, Process Innovation (PI) delivers results to all divisions within Samsung Electronics America. A shared service across functional areas, PI leads business units in analyzing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions and systems that support the business achieving their strategic objectives. Broad reach and influence within the company makes PI an ideal organization for understanding the telecom and consumer electronics business from the inside out. Who is the ideal candidate for Manager in Process Innovations?
You are passionate about using data driven methods for solving complex business process automation requirements in our B2B Salesforce platform and other Samsung internal systems. Interaction with subject matter experts and senior management to understand business scenarios, requirements, and developing solutions consistent with our business strategies is a critical component for success in this role. Additionally, the ideal candidate consistently searches for ways to enhance leaderships vision by delivering high value process innovation projects. You strive for excellence in all aspects, setting the bar as a role model for the rest of the company.
Position Summary
Lead process innovation through project management and execution to achieve operational excellence. Extensive interaction with senior management, subject matter experts, to identify critical business requirements and deliver high quality implementations, customizations, and configurations of systems consistent with our business strategies. PIs role encompasses all projects from top management based on the company needs and should go above and beyond assigned responsibility to support.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead internal company process improvement projects and initiatives (Salesforce and other systems) through evaluation and documentation of current work processes and identification of improvement strategies
Leverage your deep understanding of our senior managements top business strategies with the ability to bridge the capability gap in order to make Salesforce and other systems a key competitive advantage for Samsung
Facilitate business requirement gathering and manage comprehensive project documentation
Evaluate business needs and initiate quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to support project proposal or evaluation results
Develop processes to efficiently manage, monitor, and track project deliverables, budget, and expenses
Work closely with project teams to monitor project scope and provide timely status / situation updates to all relevant stakeholders
Manage relationships and expectations of both internal and external project stakeholders
Lead project team meetings to communicate project status, budget, and expense status
Lead and facilitate cross-collaboration between business stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and PI during the project lifecycle.
Work closely with project teams to monitor project scope and provide timely status / situation updates to all relevant stakeholders
Assist in preparing materials in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point to be presented within and outside of PI team
Present analysis results to internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
Background/Experience
Masters degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum, Bachelors degree in the above related fields and 5-7 years of related experience
Minimum 5 years of B2B experience or sales and channel distribution related experience
Minimum 2 years of Salesforce Lightning administration experience or similar related field including Salesforce consulting
Salesforce Certifications preferred: System Administrator and/or Platform Developer

You have the ability to quickly learn and understand new topics, businesses, and processes through research and interviews with subject matter experts
You have experience working with stakeholders at all levels
You have experience leading cross-functional subject matter experts to drive deliverables and meet key milestones
You have the ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships and contacts within a work group, across other company functions and with external organizations
You have proven ability to influence others and drive meaningful change results
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially pertaining to sales, operations, logistics, system, and financial functions
You enjoy public speaking and can effectively communicate project objectives and outcomes to all levels
You aspire to be a team leader, with the ability to train and mentor junior employees
You are eager to learn and grow but also help others do the same
You are a detail-oriented person with strong leadership experience and are willing to take on a challenge
You are organized and pay close attention to detail
You have experience working with or implementing best in class SaaS solutions for workplace efficiency and performance such as Salesforce, WebEx, etc.
You are willing to travel 10% of your time, including to regional SEA offices and HQ (Korea)
