Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Procurement** **Multi-Family** **Manager** (Level K) position. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Supplier Management team responsible for Commercial and Government Training Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) providing the functional support to the team in **Seattle** **, WA** or **Saint Louis, MO.**


**This position** **supports a return to office (RTO) hybrid plan of 1-2 days per week** **. The selected candidate will be required to work** **at least 1-day per week** **at the** **Seattle,** **WA. or Saint Louis, MO.** **location.**


**Position Responsibilities:**


+ Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

+ Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.

+ Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

+ Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

+ Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees.


This position will also require proven ability to operate in a collaborative environment developing strong relationships across teams and functions to ensure overall success of aggressive business objectives in a dynamic environment.


**The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):**


+ 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a commercial/governmentPurchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager.

+ 5+ years of experience in Supply ChainManagement includingGlobal Supply Chain Networks, Sourcing Products/Services, Supply Chain Relationships, Project Management, Problem Solving, Performance Metrics, Data Analytics, Customer/Supplier Communications, Requirements Management, Relationship Management, Supplier Management, Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management

+ 3-5+years of leadership experience (team lead/project manager/manager)


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**


+ Bachelors Degree or higher

+ Experience with business strategy execution plans

+ Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

+ Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy

+ Government Regulations

+ Commercial/Government Procurement

+ Requirements Management

+ Aviation Industry Knowledge
