The Production Coordinator efficiently operate the functions (including setup) required to create molded polymer products to acceptable production standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Weigh raw materials
Trim molded polymer products
Mold polymer products
Inspect molded polymer products

Expected Areas of Competence
Must be able to work in a team environment where workload is shared and process improvement is a group process.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail.
Must be able to lift or move molds weighing up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to read basic blue prints and perform precision measurements.
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic shop math and follow detailed written instructions.
Must be able to successfully complete On-the-Job Training and On-the-Job Performance stand for items A through H.
Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous experience in one or all of the following skills: molding, trimming polyethylene, and blast cabinet operation.
Must make continuous progress as demonstrated by satisfactory performance of the following training steps(OJT/OJP):
A. Weigh polyethylene flake raw material (80 hrs/100 hrs)
B. Trim UHMWPE molded products (640 hrs/300 hrs)
C. Stamp UHMWPE molded products with identifying information (40 hrs/100 hrs)
D. Perform computer applications for molding (120 hrs/300 hrs)
E. Operate blast cabinet (80 hrs/200 hrs)
F. Operate molding Wabash press (640 hrs/1000 hrs)
G. Perform dimensional, cosmetic, and NDT inspection
Techniques on UHMWPE molded products (310 hrs/1000 hrs)
