Position Overview:

Digital Financial tools team is seeking a highly effective and innovative Product Manager (Sr. Associate) to lead the rapidly growing product development of end-to-end capabilities within the Digital organization and transform the way our customers do business. They will be responsible for the firm™s capabilities including personalized tools and insights that empower and motivate customers to understand their money, plan life goals, and take action. The Product Manager will support a key product area for an initiative with a high senior leadership support and visibility.

The ideal candidate has experience delivering personal financial management features and experiences for mobile and web. It will also be important for the candidate to understand enterprise finance business models, tracking roadmap delivery and strategic execution is a critical component of the role.

The desired candidate will support and partner across the lines of businesses to execute on an ever-evolving roadmap to drive business objectives forward as well as keep Chase on the leading edge of the rapidly changing technology landscape. They will engage with cross functional teams of core engineering, design and business partners from across the firm to deliver robust feature sets to market.

The desired candidate will be outcome-focused with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an innovation lifecycle product roadmap, agile mindset, and have a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital channels. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, research and marketing teams to drive new product initiatives

  • Support the build out of retirement and planning components of the product roadmap and feature set with focus on ensuring JP Morgan stays on the leading edge of digital capabilities

  • Work closely with business and technology teams in developing cohesive journeys that delivers the best products for our customers

  • Engage closely with stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets business and consumer needs while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints

  • Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, incorporate them into product roadmaps

  • Define new product and feature business cases working collaboratively with business, engineering and design teams to ensure a unified product landscape

  • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, workflows, detailed business requirements, use cases and other materials as needed to support design, development and infrastructure

  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives

  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs, identify market opportunities and define product strategy

  • Track and manage business case metrics and financial planning models ensuring that product delivery stays on track and on budget

  • Help prepare executive product updates inclusive of current production metrics, new feature delivery planning and financial forecasting

  • Manage stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met, set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communication

  • Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably with experience in personal financial management, financial planning, digital banking, or a closely related business managing strategic or transformational change.

  • Experience working within an Agile development framework; understanding of Product Owner roles and responsibilities a plus

  • Demonstrable experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework

  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmap, prioritizing projects according to business need, producing business models

  • Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills and willingness to ask awkward questions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team in a large organization

  • Subject matter knowledge around financial management or personal financial management a plus
