Role and Responsibilities


Your role

You are responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of our customer data management platform (CDP). Working closely with a team of data specialists, you provide actionable data analysis and segmentation insights based on data across different channels. You will look at opportunities in the 1st party data to optimize the customer data-driven marketing approach of Samsung and help the transition into the cookie less world.


You will also be able to connect the customer data platform (CDP) to other marketing activation platforms such as Google Search/Display & Video/Facebook, etc. Your marketing analytics platform will drive better performance in Samsungs digital marketing environment.


Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility as a Product Owner Marketing Analytics Platform is playing a key role in our data-driven marketing approach. Together with a cross-functional team, you make data-driven marketing campaigns happen.


Besides that, your responsibilities are the following:


  • Manage the Data Management Platform (Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Experience Platform) and other Customer Data Platform, create valuable audiences and analyze data.

  • Support the customer data-driven marketing approach with insights on audiences (1st party).

  • Monitor tag implementation that allows for correct dataflow and GDPR/Privacy requirements.

  • Analyze the audience activation result with data and insight team.

  • Project management to connect various marketing activation platforms such as Customer Data platform, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google DV360, and so on.

  • Guide digital marketing channel activation teams and troubleshoot as Marketing Tech expert.

  • Manage and monitor analytics in relation to governance.

  • Testing and advising in relation to digital audience personalizations with the goal to achieve a seamless customer experience.

  • Reporting in critical metrics & analysis of testing engagement trends and interfacing with partners on both personalization and audience management ends.


Your team

As a Product Owner Marketing Analytics Platform, youll be part of of the Central Data Analytics team for the Direct to Consumer (D2C) organization. We are providing marketing analytics solutions as well as the consumer and market insights. You will be part of the Marketing Analytics team, one of three crucial teams of Data Analytics. Your team supports personalized marketing targeting in digital marketing activations. Next, the Data and Consumer Insight team provides the D2C marketing and e-store team with a strong foundation of strategic planning and insights on campaign performances. Finally, the Advanced Analytics team manages lots of ML/AI and BI initiatives. Each unit supports each other to bring synergy, so you will have many possibilities to grow further in various directions.

Preferred qualifications

As a Product Owner Marketing Analytics Platform, you have the following qualification(s):


  • Bachelors degree or higher in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Economics (Business economics), Business Information, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Marketing or Business Administration

  • 3-5 years of experience within a related field and function

  • Experience running digital projects focused on data, engagement, and conversion rate optimization is a plus

  • English proficiency is required (additional Dutch or French is a plus

  • Knowledge and skills in DMPs or CDPs: Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Tealium, or similar

  • Knowledge and skills in web analytics tools: Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics

  • Experience in Google Marketing Platform and tools: GA360, SA360, DV360, Google Ads, and Big Query or similar tools
