ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Ensured quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures



  • Reviews manufacturing plans and processes to ensure part conformity to design requirements



  • Performs onsite source inspections of product and review of applicable documentation



  • Participates in non-conforming product evaluation and disposition process including Material Review Board (MRB)



  • Assesses potential new suppliers; reevaluates current supplier competence in producing conforming product



  • Performs audits and surveillance of internal and external quality systems, processes, and procedures



  • Performs FAA safety sensitive inspection functions



  • Assists with investigations utilizing proven Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and structured problem solving methodologies



  • Conducts oneself in accordance with Companys Core Values



  • Other duties as assigned



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a product quality role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree preferred



  • Experience working with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems



  • Strong understanding of and experience with auditing and managing Quality Systems (i.e., CAPA, MRB, Audit Management)



  • Knowledge of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations with focus on Parts 21 and 29



  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices such as, calipers, micrometers, etc.



  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels



  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment



  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail



  • Requires the ability to travel domestically



  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
