Marvel Digital Media is seeking a Production Coordinator who will support the operation of this New York-based production team. The Digital Production team is tasked with the creation of video content, from promotional material to original and branded entertainment that will be distributed on all key social media platforms, as well as creation and distribution of original scripted and unscripted Marvel podcasts. The primary role of the Production Coordinator will be to assist the Digital Producers on project development and execution, as well as fulfilling tasks as necessary for the Production Managers to assure the efficiency of all projects. The Production Coordinator will also help support the team with various live event production logistics, including the managing of internal workflows.
Responsibilities
+ Work with the Manager, Production Management to coordinate onboarding and other startup material delivery for each project
+ Draft and manage distribution of all production paperwork (budgets, schedules, call sheets, etc.)
+ Research crew for field production, process deal memos, and maintain database of rates
+ Complete external vendor setup in coordination with Accounting and Legal teams
+ Manage crew payroll and third-party payments
+ Maintain contracts portal
+ Coordinate production travel
+ Assist in production budgeting process
+ Track actuals and generate production reports
+ Managing purchasing process and generate Purchase Orders
+ Track Capital Expenditures and Asset Tagging Management
+ Manage P Card expenses and act as Concur support for greater Digital Media team
+ Act as liaison for Production and Accounting teams
+ Support EditShare archival system
+ Support live streaming production workflows
+ Support the usage of production and asset management systems and review and approval workflows
+ Doing research as needed by Production Management
+ Collaborate on special project research as needed to assist in improving the workflows and best practices of the department
+ Help track and distribute documentation to facilitate information flow across departments including meeting agendas to engage the appropriate stakeholders for each project
Basic Qualifications
+ Minimum 2 years experience in video and digital production in the media & entertainment space
+ Highly organized, resourceful and dependable with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, internal and external contact
+ Strong technical skills -- can adapt to different tools easily.
+ Comfortable working under pressure.
+ Bidding experience and passion for budgeting.
+ Ability to be adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to handle confidential materials and issues in a professional manner
+ Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Familiarity with Oracle and SAP
+ Knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects
