**Job Description:**
Role Responsibilities:
+ Provide regional leadership and technical support for Global Data Plant Applications.
+ Work closely with business stakeholders within the region to ensure that we are delivering a consistently high quality of service.
+ Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for all Data Plant platforms globally following SRE methodology
+ Manage releases of new and existing applications to the production environment. Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required.
+ Actively participate in monitoring and building monitoring for the application to enable the wider team to efficiently support this application globally.
+ Will be required to look across the entire production environment to aid continuous improvement with the state and supportability of production systems.
+ Work closely with Development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines
+ Work closely with other MAPS team members across the AMRS region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardization
+ This role requires experience working with and development with KDBRequired Skills:

+ Apache Storm

+ Vertica/Oracle Exadata
+ KDBDesired Skills:
+ Knowledge of ITIL Incident and problem management.
+ Can work independently. Has experience supporting a front office data application.
+ Able to work under pressure, and to tight timescales.
+ Deep technical and development knowledge of KDB applications as well as the ability to interpret application knowledge into monitoring requirements.
+ Following this through with implementing a stable and scalable monitoring platform in ITRS
