TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Programmer/Analyst II (COBOL)- Product Configuration in Germantown, TN

This role will support & maintain all aspects of TKE's product configurator applications & CPQ related processes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement engineering changes within the product configurator application

  • Specialize in developing product structures for newly engineered product lines

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and product structures

  • Create product models based on engineering data within the product configurator application

  • Create and maintain product data within the sales configurator application

  • Test and debug BOM outputs from the product configurator application

  • Support enhancements to the product configurator application and supporting interfaces

  • Support and create applications used to collect and capture data analytics, Bill of Material creation and various other support responsibilities

  • Provide data and reports as requested by users as it relates to product configuration

  • Support legacy product configurator and mainframe applications

  • Assist in the coordination of various projects.

  • Maintain a customer focus and provide support throughout the organization

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (PPS / A3 / CI)

  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Who we are looking for

Required Work Experience & Education:

  • Four or more years of related experience within the elevator or similar manufacturing field required

  • Four or more years of ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, COPICS, PLEX); creating, maintaining and understand BOM structures

  • Experience working with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc...)

  • Experience using PLM/PDM software such as SolidWorksPDM.

  • Familiar with the CPQ process in a manufacturing environment

  • Understanding of COBOL programming and mainframe applications

  • Intermediate understanding of bills of material, manufacturing, and product structures

  • Demonstrated work experience within a process-oriented environment

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve business objectives

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • College degree in a technology related field or equivalent combined education and work experience
