Arcosa Marine Components is searching for a Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Bossier City, LA.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic sourcing plan, continuously evaluate and improve supply chain sources.
Issue and maintain purchase orders.
Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in managing supplier quality program
Assist engineering in evaluating viable alternative components or suppliers.
Ensure inventory items are available to meet production schedule.
Request quotes from suppliers.
Strategically negotiate pricing and supplier agreements.
Manage inventory forecasting and stock levels.
Work under the general direction of the plant operations manager or business unit management.
Comply with all company safety rules and procedures
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
Manage a small team of Direct Reports within the Plant.

Requirements:
High School Diploma is required; Associates or BA preferred.
1-3 years of Supervisor experience is required
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience negotiating and developing strategic supplier agreements.
Experience with import logistics.
5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain logistics.
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/MRP system preferred.
Experience with sourcing gearing, bearings, motors, castings, and other industrial components.

Logistics Supply Chain
