Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Architect.
As a Senior SAP ABAP Architect, you will be a key player in the project that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
The position is based in Jersey City, NJ. Candidates should be local to the area or willing to travel weekly to project locations.

Preferred Qualifications
At least 11 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes in SAP with atleast 2 end to end S/4 HANA implementation project experience in a Technical Architect role
Experience in developing applications in various modules including FI/CO/SD/MM/PP/QM
Well versed with development standards in SAP S/4HANA
Deep ABAP development experience including ABAP on HANA & ABAP OO development.
Strong understanding of Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API Expert
CRUD OData Development with SAP Gateway and CDS
IDOC enhancement and ALE/IDOC Responsibility
Exposure around any of the front-end technologies like SAP FIORI or WebDynpro will be an added advantage.
Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework - User exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
SAP In app extensibility and SAP Side by Side extensibility using BTP.
Form Development experience in SAP-Script, Smart-forms and Interactive Adobe Forms.
Experience in developing data migration programs
Good understanding of S/4HANA Application and database.
Experience in code optimization, performance tuning and runtime analysis in accordance with HANA Optimization techniques
Expertise in using Code Inspector, Single Transaction Analysis, SQL Performance Trace, Runtime Analysis tools
Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation skills
Experience in leading teams
Experience with SAP Activate Methodology
SAP S/4HANA product certifications are a plus.
Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Good Planning, Estimation and Co-ordination skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
