As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing, you will be responsible for managing a geography in in New York (NYC and Long Island) Connecticut and New Jersey to maximize revenue for the company. Tasked with creating, developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region as well as generating accurate and realistic sales forecasts. The RSM is expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth, and will need to opportunistically look at the market for breakout revenue opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for only for landing new customers across the United States.
Act proactively to detect and create opportunities, identify and acquire potential customers directly or with Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel.
Responsible for driving net new revenue through new business within their territory/region and exceeding quota.
Work collaboratively with your peers in other regions as well as your internal colleagues to facilitate a positive team environment.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or another relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of strong account management or solution sales experience.
Previous experience in IT solution sales experience.
Good business analysis and mid-term vision
Excellent negotiation skills.
The ability to create and maintain good relationships with senior managers and C-Level executives.
Industry knowledge of high-technology market (IT Security and Cybersecurity).
Good marketing analysis skills.
Previous experience working with Microsoft Office products.
Previous user experience with SalesForce.com
Strong oral and written communication is key.
A team and goal-oriented, who is highlight organized, persistent, autonomous, accountable, and be a strong leader.
