**Description**
**Scrub and OB Technician - Family Childbirth Center at Swedish Edmonds**
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Scrub/OB Technician participates as a member of the peri-operative team in the safe and effective care to assigned groups of patients in a variety of age groups, which may include neonatal, adolescent, or adult.
**Required qualifications:**
+ Completion of a recognized program in Surgical Technology or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
+ Valid Surgical Technologist Registration with the State of Washington.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Surgery Technologist certification.
+ Recent experience as an OB Scrub Tech or surgical technologist in an acute care facility.
