Position Summary

We are hiring a professional for developing novel security solution related to Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity for mobile devices.

1. Research Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity issues from mobile devices.
2. Experiment and test different wireless and wired network scenarios, including use of state-of-the-art network protocols.
3. Develop software solutions for Android.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Research Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity issues from mobile devices.

• Experiment and test different wireless and wired network scenarios, including use of state-of-the-art network protocols.

• Develop software solutions for Android.

• Define and apply test cases for validating developed solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and documentation.

Main requirements:

• Proven 6+ years of experience working with software development or cyber security in industry and/or academic environment.

• Strong knowledge of computer networks and protocols (TCP/IP stack and IEEE 802.11 family).

• Knowledge of Java and C/C++ programming languages.

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Language requirements:

• Written fluency in English.

• Verbal fluency in English (desirable).

Education degree:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas.

Skills and Qualifications

Optional requirements:

• Experience with software development for Android.

• Knowledge of Android operating system.

• Knowledge of Python programming language.

• Experience with setup of network environments and devices.

• Experience with Secure Software Development Life Cycle, Agile software development, software management, and version control tools (e.g. Git, BitBucket, Github)
