Senior Accounting Manager bilingual Korean

The Senior Accounting Manager is the head of accounting team, responsible for managing the daily activities of the accounting team in accordance with company policies, procedures, internal controls and objectives. Activities include general ledger maintenance, control and manage month/year-end close process, oversee accounts payable/receivable, and other overall accounting activities.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monthly and year-end closing of the general ledger and preparation of financial reports
Maintains the general ledger, reconcile accounts and perform various detailed account analyses
Reviews and approves various transactions including journal entries, accounts payable, treasury, payroll, fixed assets, Sales/Use Tax, etc.
Provides day-to-day direction, training and support to Accounting team members
Reviews customer and vendor contracts and ensure all the financial terms and conditions are in accordance with company standards and provide appropriate accounting treatment
Develop and implement policies and procedures that strengthen internal controls
Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis and research on various data as needed by management, operations and headquarters
Coordination of quarterly reviews, year-end audit and preparation of schedules and documents for independent auditors
Support M&A procedures and post-merger integration on newly acquired subsidiary
Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Skills and Experience:
Korean bilingual required
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
10+ years of accounting or finance experience including supervisory responsibilities preferably in a tech industry and manufacturing environment
CPA license holder or passed all CPA exam
Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm preferred
MBA or other accounting/finance related certificates preferred
SAP (Finance/Accounting module) experience preferred
Strong understanding and experience of IFRS 15 (ASC 606)
Ability to build and maintain rapport with all company departments and vendors
Strong problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis ability in resolving finance issues
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Professional level Excel skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standard
Extremely organized and detailed oriented with excellent follow-up
