Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Technology Enablement for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.


Responsibilities:


+ Participate in client projects involving Power BI implementation, Business Intelligence strategy and Power BI Administration

+ Build sophisticated Tabular data models for dynamics Power BI dashboards

+ Lead report building, data engineering and data transformation workstreams for large projects

+ Execute the day-to-day activities of Microsoft PowerBI and Azure advisory engagements for a variety of clients including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews

+ Review reporting requirements and design Power BI and Azure driven reporting solutions

+ Identify and communicate findings to senior management and client personnel


Qualifications:


+ Minimum three years of experience with Power BI, Excel, SQL, SSAS / AAS, and writing complex DAX expressions

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an accredited college or university

+ Experience with Power BI workspace and app management

+ Advanced experience with general database and data warehouse development including replication, staging, stored procedures, views, partitioning, data marts

+ Proficiency in Azure Data Services, including Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory. Some experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse preferred

+ Strong communication, collaboration, relationship, and project management skills

+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States

+ Travel as necessary
