**Senior Automation Engineer**
Dell Technologies **Infrastructure and Engineering Operations (IEO)** organization looks for the skillful individual to take the Senior Software Engineer position in **Development Ready Infrastructure** **(DRI)** project team. We are developing a corporate-wide cloud solution targeted for the engineering groups inside Dell Technologies and we are looking to invest in our quality assurance process by adding a strong Software Quality Automation Engineer who will join existing SQE sub-team to help testing a micro services based application integrated with multiple external systems, with a lot of performance and data dependencies. In addition to the system complexity, application is being actively developed so the demand for new tests development is always significant. Candidates are expected to have good technical, analytical and software engineering skills. They should have basic understanding of the software testing and be open to learn new technologies and automation frameworks. We are a distributed team so the candidate should be ready to work with teams across the globe

**What youll achieve**
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will develop, revise and maintain test plans, test cases and automated test scripts that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on pre-determined project requirements.You will work withProduct Development, Product Management and the Support teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
**You will:**
+ Contribute into testing of the new and existing service features both on the user portal and REST API level. For the new features it includes manual work but we always aim to automate repeated work.
+ Participate in test automation through maintaining existing and contributing into new test suites written in Python.
+ Help monitoring the production state of the system and promptly react on the failures
+ Help maintaining test automation framework
+ Contribute into service documentation for different target audiences: end users, engineering teams and operational support teams.

**Essential Requirements**
+ Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of proven software automation experience
+ Python programming skills of adequate level, proven with project sources or test problem solved. Experience working with PyTest is highly preferred
+ Understanding of the software development life cycle and quality assurance place in it
+ Experience working with source control systems, bug tracking and collaboration tools.
+ Ability to learn new technologies, great communication skills and collaborative teamwork-oriented mind.
**Desirable Requirements**
+ Understanding of agile software development principles and best practices
+ Familiar with CI/CD systems like Jenkins.
+ Familiar with tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub and Artifactory
