Position Summary:
The Sr. Contract Manager will leads Samsung Display construction contracting team. Manage contract negotiation with Owners, owners represented or when acting as a subcontractor with Prime contractor. Managing risk and ensuring all features of jobs are properly represented in the contract. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, with a win/win attitude towards internal and external business relationships, and will relish the opportunity to build something new. This person must be resilient and persistent to find solutions to roadblocks encountered along the way.
Essential Duties:
Lead contracting point of contact for contracts and subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, and all other projects requiring contractual requirements completion, review, analysis, determination, and work flow processing.
Applies expert knowledge of construction regulations, licensing as well as commercial business to business contracts and pricing. Applies expert understanding and professional services contract requirements.
Responds to construction bid and proposal contract requirements.
Works with sales, technical, proposal, pricing, product, legal, financial, as well as other business and contracts team members.
Understands and applies Samsung policies and procedures, all applicable laws and industry accepted best practices.
Reviews, contractual documents
Assesses, mitigates risks.
Researches use cases and leverages any other sources internal and external - to support projects.
Applies overall practical business experience and perspective and explores all alternative solutions to support Samsung and customer requirements.
Manages contracts work flow process and all deliverables end to end; tracks and manages configuration, version and change control.
Understands Samsungs product and services stock keeping units (SKUs); applies latest Samsung pricing within contracts and subcontracts.
Interfaces with business information systems including Salesforce CRM and contracts documents work flow repositories and databases.
Will be responsible for supporting both product and professional services contracts and related packages including pricing, terms and conditions, certifications and representations.
Negotiates, and directs work to complete contractual and hand off to mobilization team for execution.
Writes, edits documents.
Leads completion of contract, subcontract and all pricing work packages and deliverables.
Prepares and delivers reports to management; advises parties of contractual latitude in terms of allowability and applicability.
Brings a solution-centric approach to all projects; constantly strives to add value above/beyond basic expectations in all phases of work.
Skills and Qualifications
Necessary Skills / Attributes:
Bachelor's Degree required
A minimum of 10+ years of prime contractor contract management experience
Expert construction bidding regulations and contracts (to include drafting contract language)
Understanding professional services/labor type contracts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong consultative skills; creativity, flexibility in researching, proposing approaches to contracts and pricing requirements
Strong analytical and research skills pertinent to contract management duties
Understanding, application of competitive pricing, labor/skills mapping for labor/professional services
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $180,000 and $187,500, and for a candidate in NYC is expected to be between $225,500 and $234,500, but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
