KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director. Journey Partner to join our Digital Nexus organization.


Responsibilities:


+ Build and maintain business engagement through positive and trust-based relationships with business partners, stakeholders and practice leaders; partner with business leaders to understand their technology needs, provide leadership, vision and management to drive solutions for the Talent and Culture portfolio

+ Use deep subject matter expertise to guide and counsel on highly complex matters impacting the technology organization and the firm; significant contributor to innovation that has impact and creates a high financial, client value and efficiency impact within department; incorporate global and other environmental factors into business analysis

+ Participate as a member of the leadership team to champion the mission and vision of the technology organization to foster a program management and business-focused culture and mindset; act as the senior executive escalation point to ensure business expectations, goals and objectives are met for all clients

+ Establish and drive the development and implementation of business engagement methodologies and protocols across the firm through expertise and collaboration with leaders

+ Lead the execution of the IT organization's program related priorities by applying best practices for technology delivery and through an understanding of business-related objectives and the competitive environment

+ Overall accountability for a team, including the group's organization, recruiting, coaching and mentoring of staff


Qualifications:


+ Minimum twelve years recent experience advanced project management skills with experience in organizing, planning and executing multiple large-scale projects and programs from definition through implementation

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; PMP certification is preferred

+ Demonstrated ability to influence, educate and interact with diverse leaders and teams across the organization

+ Ability to manage multiple complex concurrent programs, applying deep expertise to make strategic decisions that impact the technology organization and the firm

+ Capacity to make decisions of very high complexity, often autonomously

+ Advanced knowledge of the broader scope that frames the essential technical area of work with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy; advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models to ensure products and/or services continue to innovate and to drive continuous improvement
