Job Purpose:



The Sr. Director Product Management is a leader with portfolio level responsibility for facilitating and driving the product strategy, development and commercialization activities that lead to the market success across the portfolio of GPO Services, Network Services and related Software and Service product offerings. This person is a member of the senior leadership team, and a key contributor to achieving the companys near term and long-term objectives.



The Sr. Director Product Management works closely with other members of the executive team including Business Owners, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Operations and Engineeringto deliver product solutions that drive value and strengthen the organizations position in the market.



The Sr. Director Product Management leads the product management team and retains responsibility for managing the product lifecycle of all product offerings. This role requires strategic thinking, solid business acumen, and a passion for driving cross-functional execution to ensure overall product performance against key metrics.









Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Identify and optimize market opportunities for products within the current portfolio



  • Enhance consistent market applicability and penetration of product portfolio across all Business Units



  • Manage and drive the process of bringing new products and/or product enhancements to market successfully



  • Drive revenue/monetization strategy and rigor across the product life cycle with accountability



  • Understand and respond to cross-client macro market trends



  • Assesses the product portfolio for rationalization opportunities including acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and feature set changes on an ongoing basis



  • Leading the product teams strategy development process including Product Roadmap development and annual product and market review process



  • Performing Voice of Customer (VoC) market research, market validation and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for product portfolio



  • Fostering close relationships with all key market constituents (customers, non-customers, analyst, and competitors) to validateGPO Services, Network Services and related Software and Servicestrategy



  • Contributing to the thorough business case for proposed products and initiatives, including market assessment (TAM), cost/benefit estimates, GTM plans, delivery models, market trends, competitive analysis, risk analysis, industry best practices and product development timelines



  • Planning, prioritizing, and managing the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial, and corporate objectives



  • Strong collaboration with software engineering and architecture teams to ensure consistent execution of product plans that result in product delivery on time, on budget



  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to ensure go-to-market strategies, plans and activities are aligned with the companys business drivers



  • Defining goals and success metrics for the product management function



  • Being accountable for key product development and P&L milestone through the full product life cycle



  • Providing leadership to entire Product Team in continual improvement processes



Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:



  • MBA or relevant masters degree a plus 10+ years of progressive career experience within product management; leadership experience required



  • Experience with Healthcare, technology, and portfolio management



  • Demonstrated experience managing the full produce lifecycle as well as successful implementation of products resulting in $100 million of revenue generation.



  • Demonstrated success translating corporate business goals into strategic product initiatives that significantly impact the business



  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically while working towards a long-term vision



  • Strong cross-group collaboration experience, capable of engaging with engineering, QA, marketing, sales, and support organizations



  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders spanning the full spectrum of executives, peers, staff, partners, customers, and industry experts.



  • Data-driven history of leveraging customer research/user testing to drive product development.



  • Customer and Market facing capabilities in facilitating direct discussion with MHA customer and Business Partners



  • Detail orientated strong influencing and negotiation skills



  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
