Job Description
To provide technical support to the Division of Finance and to entire Stevens community in connection with the use of Kuali Financial System, Concur Travel and Expense, Workday, and any other Finance related systems.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and error correction of the Kuali Financial System (KFS), Workday (Payroll and Labor Distribution), Concur and other systems used to deliver financial functions at the university.
In addition, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst assists the finance customer support team, investigating and solving the root cause of questions and issues, and recommending communications, training, and other resource development for campus users. He/she also assists the Financial Systems Analyst in developing data warehouse reports and understanding the data that is available, validating report results, and creating ad hoc reports for distribution.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of Concur administration, user maintenance, audit rules, travel requests and expense report creation
Knowledge of Cognos reports, and report writing in Concur Intelligence
Bachelors degree in Computer / Information Systems or related fields.
Experience with complex administrative systems, query tools, data mining and analysis for complex, high volume databases.

Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
Experience supervising a customer support team
Demonstrated success in a position with similar duties
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service / personal skills
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst must analyze and assess the issues reported and make the determination for the best course of action. He/she needs to come up with a short or long term solution depending on the case.
As needed, The Senior Financial Systems Analyst contacts Kuali , as well as Concur technical support.
He/she also responds to all the inquiries from the Campus on daily basis and provide Concur training to new users.
