The candidate for this position will be a key member of a diverse team of developers working on a series of Group Insurance related applications utilizing various technologies. The candidate will be responsible to support all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing maintenance.

The successful candidate will work on the full technology stack (Java, SQL, Python, and JavaScript).

This position requires an individual with strong analytical, programming, problem solving, organizational, and technical writing skills who must be able to work on complex projects with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Proficient with high level programming languages like Java 8 and above, (Python a plus)

• Experience in Microservices Architecture with Spring Boot and ORM Frameworks like Hibernate and JPA

• Familiar with various systems development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile)

• Strong sense of OOP software design concept

• Exposure to relational database like SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

• Exposure to web development technologies like JavaScript, Angular 7

• Knowledge with AWS or Google cloud is a plus

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

• Self-learner, technology advocate eager to work on any challenge

• Demonstrated capability in Prudential Leadership Competencies: especially Strong Moral Compass, Taking Appropriate Risks, Collaboration, and Execution

• Flexibility to work after normal business hours as needed
