What you will do
In this role, you will work on the development applications related to the best in class fire detection products. This is an opportunity for a Software developer to integrate multiple aspects of applications development: definition and creation of interactive user interfaces and business logic, management of data, implementation of diagnostics tools for inside and outside customers. You will be part of a motivated and dynamic cross-functional development team delivering value added solutions for life safety systems.
Our fire detection products are embedded in restaurants and buildings you visit every day. You will analyze, design, program, debug, modify, test and implement software used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related applications for Fire Alarm Systems. You will also perform complex software engineering assignments often requiring development of new or improved products/processes/ techniques.

What we look for
University degree in computer/software engineering or computer sciences
3+ years of direct experience and expertise in commercial applications development
Relevant experience using JavaScript (front end development), Node.js (some backend development) on Windows (Linux also a plus)
Good knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming
Development experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelining and versioning tools
Knowledge of #, .NET, MVVM, WPF, WCF, Entity Framework, LINQ, C, C++, Meteor JS, React, Node.js, Mongo DB, MQTT and DDP an asset
Knowledge of SVG, Graphic Editing tools also an asset
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Fluent in English; basic level of French
Strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, results oriented and self-motivated

Vous participerez lanalyse, la conception, la programmation, la modification, le dverminage et la validation dapplications logicielles qui composent ces produits, la fois autonomes et connects, via le nuage ou Internet. Vous effectuerez galement des tches d'ingnierie logicielle complexes ncessitant souvent le dveloppement de produits/processus/techniques nouveaux ou amliors.

Ce que nous recherchons
Diplme universitaire en gnie informatique/logiciel ou en sciences informatiques
3 ans ou plus dexprience pertinente dans le dveloppement de logiciels commerciaux
Exprience pertinente avec JavaScript (frontend), Node.js (backend) sur Windows (Linux un atout)
Bonne connaissance des patrons de conception (Design patterns), de la programmation oriente objet
Exprience de dveloppement Agile et laise avec les outils dintgration et de livraison continue (CI/CD) et de contrle de versions
Connaissance de C#, .NET, MVVM, WPF, WCF, Entity Framework, LINQ, C, C++, Meteor JS, React, Mongo DB, MQTT et DDP an asset
