Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Marketing Manager (Product Marketing), you will be responsible for the product marketing strategy for the CFA Institute flagship credential, the CFA Program. The Senior Marketing Manager will identify relevant audiences and segments, gather market requirements, and create go-to-market strategies using marketing and sales channels and distribution partners. This strategic role will manage product positioning, channel messaging, stakeholder communications, marketing content, plan and activate sales and distribution programs, monitor campaigns and optimize to meet revenue, growth and/or ROI goals.

Job Description:

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop product marketing strategies, including customer/ product value alignment, pricing recommendations, distribution and campaign plans, and audience activation.

  • Develop market segmentation, customer personas, and key product messaging using customer research.

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to deliver well-received product/feature launches that meet business objectives.

  • Develop impactful messaging and communications through research and qualitative feedback

  • Develop documentation of core product messaging, value proposition, roadmaps and goals to ensure marketing teams and supporting agencies design and execute relevant digital and event-based campaigns and programs.

  • Partner with product teams and sales teams to build product marketing roadmaps

  • Manage marketing and sales enablement assets, including digital content

  • Continuously experiment and iterate to increase product adoption and understand voice of the customer

  • Support business case development for product enhancements with insights on segmentation and targeting and product positioning

  • Leverage market analysis, customer insights, and product marketing expertise to influence product decisions and represent the voice of the customer internally

  • Provide training to customer-facing side of the organization to ensure proper utilization of materials and messaging consistency.

The skills and experience required for this role are:

  • 5 plus years of product marketing experience

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Product Management or Marketing certification preferred (e.g. Pragmatic Institute, Product Focus, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce, and Adobe Analytics a plus

  • Experience in market research, analysis, and strategy development

  • Strong project management skills

  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.

  • Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations

  • Strong cultural compatibility including fit with CFA Institute's key and unique global leadership competencies

  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
