**Role Description:**
Senior Member of Technical Staff providing networking and security solutions to complex mobility applications using advanced engineering principles and security best-practices. Supports testing, designing, documenting and troubleshooting mobility network flows from ideation to production using the DevOps process.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Applies engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise
+ Develop networking designs to support 4G and 5G Roaming using BGP features to support proximity routing through stateful devices
+ Troubleshoot and support network connectivity for roaming and connections to 3rd parties
+ Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams
+ Represent the group internally across the company to provide functional and technical leadership and externally to submit vendor feature requests
**Experience:** PhD in an approved field or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Supervisory: No.
**Knowledge/Experience:**
+ Hands-on experience of routing and switching protocols and network services - BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, Traffic Engineering, IP Multicast, QoS, Security, VPN, eVPN, VX-LAN, IPv4, IPv6, L2 Policing
+ Hands-on experience with firewalls
+ Hands-on experience with Load Balancers
+ Basic knowledge and experience with traffic generators, network diagnostic and analyzer tools
+ Basic understand of Mobility Ip Flows
+ Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
+ Experience with cloud technologies such as Openstack, containerization and Kubernetes.
