Senior Performance Engineer

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will participate in system\rdesign, implement performance scripts, analyze performance results and work\rwith the development teams to address areas of concern. Our products utilize\rJava, .NET and APEX technologies, leading Business Intelligence technologies,\rand are deployed in the Cloud (AWS, Salesforce) and On-Premise.
This role requires a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time\rwith quality and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must have excellent\rverbal and written communication skills, be able to think analytically and\rclearly articulate results and findings to others.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall performance\r and scalability of our software systems
Design, script, configure and execute\r performance tests
Identify and analyze potential performance\r issues throughout the entire software stack
Diagnose, track and manage\r performance issues to resolution
Participate and represent performance\r and scaling needs in feature design with sprint team members including architects,\r developers, quality engineers, and product owners
YOU MUST HAVE
\r\t
3 + years of experience as a Performance engineer
\r\t
3 + years of experience with Agile Scrum Product development & accessing databases (i.e., SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) via SQL and/or SOQL, SOSL
\r\t
5 + years of experience with profiling tools, load testing tools, web proxy tools like Neoload, LoadRunner, JMeter, Fiddler
\r\t
1 + year of experience in application development/scripting with Java, Groovy, PowerShell or Python
\r
\r
WE VALUE
\r\t
Solid understanding of Salesforce administration and profiling Apex code
\r\t
Experience working with Cloud computing services and frameworks, AWS preferred
\r\t
Solid understanding of Microservices and Web Application Protocols
\r\t
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
\r
