**Description** The Senior Product Owner delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Senior Product Owner work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Understanding of current system capabilities and business processes are required. **Responsibilities** The Senior Product Owner will work as a liaison and manage products between IT and the various clinical groups supporting Medicaid & LTSS (Long Term Support Services) lines of business. Gathers and documents business needs and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. + Facilitate meetings with business partners and IT partners to discuss and document business needs in a way that will support IT development. + Consults in Feature and Epic development + Defines user stories and acceptance criteria + Works directly with engineering team to refine and prioritize stories for development + Key communicator of product decisions and business objectives to the product team + Presents a sprint demo after every sprint to stakeholders + Accepts Stories through post-production validation + Models and encourages Agile behaviors within the team + Works with the Product Manager in order to forecast the product roadmap **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Systems or a related technical field OR 5+ years of experience as a product owner + Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies + Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments + Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts + Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences + Ability to work up to two nights/weekend days a month to support product delivery to production **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field + Clinical experience + Medicaid knowledge + SAFe Agile PMPO certification **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
