Position Summary


Manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the Strategy and Transformation Group, specifically leading cross-business initiatives, coordinating strategic advice to Executive Management, and overseeing strategy development that impacts SEA.


Role and Responsibilities


Manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the Strategy and Transformation Group, specifically leading cross-business initiatives, coordinating strategic advice to Executive Management, and overseeing strategy development that impacts SEA. Manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the Strategy and Transformation Group, relating to leading development of mid to long term strategy projects for sales, marketing, supply chain, retail operations, and other support groups in the United States. Lead key strategic initiatives core to division priorities. Spanning growth, go-to-market, and operational performance enhancement by directly scoping, initiating, planning, leading, and executing strategy projects. Oversee the creation of strategic communications for internal and external audiences. Formulate in-depth strategic insights/foresights and thought leadership on electronics industry, channel, and consumer trends to the CEO. Develop business cases and strategic options based on industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, and ROI analysis to support planning initiatives. Develop new business models & partnerships that will drive the growth of business in the US. Develop insights related to the forecasted outlook of the economy, industry, and channel to determine their potential impact on sales and marketing goals. Provide Executive Management with timely and insightful analysis on critical competitive threats, movements and strategies with implications and recommended action. Provide critical analytical support for business decision-making involving cross-departmental and multi-functional areas. Supervises 3 subordinates Manager/Senior Manager.


Skills and Qualifications


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:


Masters degree in Business Administration, Business and Economics, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus three years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related. Applicants must have 3 years of experience in the following: (1) corporate strategy, strategic planning, consulting, digital marketing, and business development; (2) developing business cases and strategic options based on industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, and ROI analysis for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders; (2) leading and coordinating multi-functional teams with diverse interests toward shared objectives; (3) creating tactical project work-plans for multi-functional teams; (4) to scope and execute concrete strategic initiatives including new market entry, competitive benchmarking and response, channel analysis, business development; (5) establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-divisionally; (6) understanding and developing new business models to grow revenues and capture new consumer segments; (7) developing strategic objectives into practical action including competitive response, mutual beneficial deal structures, and go-to-market plan; and (8) consumer goods industries including consumer electronics. 10% domestic travel required.
