Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager of B2C Site Management will manage Samsung.com deliverables for Home Entertainments categorical line of business (LOB) -including TV, Audio, Monitors & Display sub categories. This role sits within Samsungs Corporate Marketing division, specifically, Samsung.coms (S.com) Consumer Experience (CX) dept.
This role will own Samsungs web site executions to solve LOBs business needs, while balancing Corporate Marketings CX, brand, content, user experience and technical needs. The goal is to build HEs consumer & brand value, while maximizing & growing S.coms awareness and engagement KPIs.
Core responsibilities include the matrix management of various groups for digital strategy, consumer experience journey, design, UX, content, eCommerce and web technology, encompassing of program and project management for Samsung.com deliverables relative to the product categories needs.
This position will partner, serve and manage various Samsung divisions including, but not limited to, Demand Generation (key stakeholder), Tech Platform team, & eCommerce team + various authoring, development and creative vendors. This role will also need to collaborate with other Corporate Marketing functions including, but not limited to, Brand & CX/UX group to adhere to site guidelines, Performance & Data Marketing to own S.com KPI metrics of awareness & engagement, and CRM Marketing for integrated marketing experiences.
This role will work closely with the web development and technology teams for business needs relative to architecture & frameworks - as well as interfacing with key internal business stakeholders at Samsung, and presentation of reports.
There will be management oversight and directional duties for 3rd party vendors, digital agencies, and production resources on a daily basis.
Skills and Qualifications
o Manage and evolve Samsung.com digital strategy for HE line of business needs.
o Partner with CX, UX/UI, content, and technology to support LOB categories needs.
o Serve the LOBs as the key point of contact to help formulate initiatives & solve problems.
o Build and execute innovative and impactful strategic marketing initiatives for the purpose of generating best-in-class consumer experience.
o Partner with eCommerce team to elevate promotions, offers and merchandising programs to align with Samsung.coms Consumer Experience Journey (CEJ)
o Partner with CX teams CEJ/UX/UI + XLOB teams to help execute their projects & tasks
o Partner with Platforms and web development team (SDSA) to identify technical solutions that meet S.com needs
o Partner with Performance Marketing team to build a data-driven approach for site management success via Awareness KPIs (e.g. Traffic, SEO, Visits) and Engagement KPIs (e.g. CTA engagement, continuation rate to purchase funnel)
o Manage opportunities for test & learn program, and personalization
o Report on qualitative and quantitative analytics of executions
o Develop project plans & manage partners & stakeholders participation & contributions
o Monitor and execute multiple initiatives & projects simultaneously
o Manage stakeholder expectations by proactively identifying problems
o Support senior leadership team for any communication and presentation needs
o Manage & support digital agency of record, and vendor partners
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in marketing, business or a related field
Significant experience in the management and leadership of digital marketing, strategy, CX, content, design & experiences.
Working experience in eCommerce programs and merchandising programs
Working experience in content management systems and web technology
Strong project management, problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and excellent multitasking skills.
Strong ability to operate in a matrix environment
Strong note-taking with the ability to identify action items and next steps
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-functional team.
Passion for building relationships and proactive communication
Motivated and strong detail-oriented approaches
Understanding of quantitative and qualitative measurement frameworks and KPIs for a branded eCommerce web site
Fluent in Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
