Our roots are in corporate real estate management for Siemens. In this role, we take overall responsibility for all real estate activities. We manage the portfolio, optimize space utilization, oversee the operation of our real estate, including all real estate-related services, are responsible for letting and sales, and implement all of Siemens' construction projects. Our aim is always to support the strategy of the company and its businesses as best we can, thus creating long-term value.
We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager for Construction | Real Estate Projects to oversee site selection, construction, asset management, procurement, finance, EHS, and quality management for a long-term project (3+ years). This position will be in Charlotte, NC
To thrive in this role, you have:
Planned and implemented large-volume manufacturing/industrial construction projects (>$150M), including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.
Ensured schedule, cost, continuity, and quality in all project phases, including countermeasures in the event of irregularities.
Coordinated all external and internal project customers and participants such as construction companies, architects, and planning offices.
Ensured customer-specific requirements and their implementation in the planning and execution process.
Collaborated with authorities to ensure the requirements of building laws were satisfied.
Prepared and drove processes, forms, and policies concerning decision-making bodies and management presentations.
Ensure Siemens "Zero Harm Culture" on the construction site.
Develop and drive essential building-specific topics, e.g., creation of charter and guidelines (active topic adoption and timely processing in management templates).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Education:
Have a degree in engineering or architecture.
PMP certification highly desirable.
10+ years of professional experience in development and construction as well as in the planning and organizing of large-volume construction projects.
Proven experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Excellent knowledge of local standards and accident prevention regulations.
