**Job Description Summary**

The Senior Refurbishment Leader will be part of the global Hydro Refurbishment COE and will support the development of Refurbishment best practices for both ITO and OTR. The Leader will contribute in defining the simplification of processes for project execution on Refurbishment Projects, looking transversally of the functions. The role will report to the COE Refurbishment Leader.

**Roles and Responsibilities**



+ Takes new perspective on existing solutions in Hydro Refurbishment methods to challenge statu quo. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

+ Designing and establishing simplified processes protocols and tools;

+ Participate in Project Monthly Reviews and Refurbishment tendering activities to identify Cost-Out opportunities and support their execution;

+ Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field, drive change management with all stakeholders

+ Planning, coordination and execution of the improvement Action Plan for Refurbishment;

+ Develop communication packages internally and externally on the refurbishment activities

+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.



**Required Qualifications**



+ This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Functional Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university with at least 10 years of experience.

+ Strong experience on Hydro projects OTR and/or ITO tendering processes for Extended Retrofit projects or similar.

+ Field experience in Hydro or a similar business is a must.

+ Fluent in English and Portuguese (if in Brazil).

+ Significant experience in managing in a global matrix environment.

+ LEAN proficiency being demonstrated

+ Expert in influential skills

+ Team-player, positive & engaged contributor to the team, willingness to learn & adapt to business needs.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
