Your impact:
Delish is searching for an ambitious and creative Senior Social Media Editor who will oversee and grow the brands social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Apple News, and more. This role will manage the day-to-day assignments of our Assistant Social Media Editor and report to the Director of Brand Strategy & Audience Development. The ideal candidate should have experience managing large social audiences and producing creative social content, and have a passion for all things Delish: food news, viral recipes, cooking, eating, and beyond. What youll do:
Develop and execute an innovative, cross-platform strategy to grow Delishs social presence
Own Delishs social calendar and craft compelling promotional plans around editorial initiatives and launches
Oversee and post to Delishs Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest accounts
Closely monitor social media platforms and content performance, and report relevant insights to the larger team
Work across teams (art, edit, food, and video) to ideate and produce engaging social-first initiatives
Run monthly TikTok pitch meetings
Oversee the Apple News strategy and pitches
Manage day-to-day assignments and growth of Assistant Social Media Editor
Who you are:
A social media editor with 4+ years of professional social media experience, strong editorial judgment, clean writing skills, and a year of staff management experience
Someone who loves spotting and trying the newest social trends
A savvy strategist who knows how to utilize social platforms (including TikTok, and other emerging platforms) and tools like SocialFlow, Google Analytics, and Dash Hudson to help performance and engagement inform content
A team player and lover of fast-paced, collaborative environments
Someone with a sense of humor and a clear, creative snappy writing style
Organized, enthusiastic, and solutions-oriented
