Senior Software Engineer, Back End (Remote-Eligible)

We are seeking Back End Software Engineers who are excited to join our ML Batch Serving Platform team. As a Capital One Software Engineer, youll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
**Team Info:**
ML Batch Serving Platform is model execution at scale. Its the intersection of Machine Learning, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps. We are looking for versatile engineers who are interested in diverse tasks, from the minute details of Kubernetes routing, API development, coding models, to supporting our users.
**What Youll Do:**
+ Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
+ Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
+ Assist users to onboard and deploy applications onto the platform
+ Support maintenance activities such as AWS stack refresh, deployments, and access
+ Triage and troubleshoot application issues
+ Develop new features and enhancements related to Seldon Core, Routing, Kubernetes Operators, ArgoCD, and Go APIs
+ Utilize programming languages like Python, SQL, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors Degree
+ At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience in Python or Go
+ 1+ years of experience developing APIs
+ 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
+ 1+ years of experience with IAM, Security Groups and Authz/Authn techniques
+ 2+ years of experience with container ecosystem technologies such as Docker
+ 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
+ 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
