In this role you will work with engineering and business partners to define and build out complex solutions driving value through business process simplification, automation and new product capabilities and innovations. You will lead product solutioning end to end for new innovations with iterative improvements You will also research and evaluate new products in the marketplace. You will collaborate with peer and cross functional teams across the globe.
For this role, you will have a Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field with 10+ years of experience, along with excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D. You will also have experience is JAVA/JEE, XML, JSON, web technologies and web/RESTful services. Youll need to have experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration) / CD (Continuous Delivery. You will have experience with designing high performant solutions, using large scale SQL and NoSQL databases . You will also have AML compliance experience. You will have experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners. You will have hands-on experience in building a microservices based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale. You will also have experience in architecting, building, and supporting cloud (AWS) solutions.

Annual base salary gross: $119,833.00 - $199,723.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Unions total compensation package for employees.
