Job Summary:
The Senior Systems Administrator performs advanced systems administrator functions while serving as the KP 1st IO Senior Systems Administrator/Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
Active Directory Operations;
Support ticket resolution; creation, maintenance, and enhancement of team processes and documentation
Account management
Active Directory Windows Server functional support for GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI, DFS and other domain relevant services
Issue resolution coordination with various technical and managerial stakeholders
Team Lead-specific tasks include supervising a team of up to seven (exclusive of the team lead) SYSADMINs and network administrators, performance reporting,participating in contract leadership meetings, and assisting with additional business initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Top Secret clearance w/ SCI
HS diploma or higher
DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+
2+ years experience
In-depth knowledge of MS Active Directory
MCSA Server 2016, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
Working knowledge of MS Active Directory
Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position computer/network equipment weighing up to 35 lbs
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft PowerShell in a variety of applications
Experience with the administration and operation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016
Knowledge of IT service desk requirements and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments independently (i.e., with minimal assistance) with ability to provide over the phone troubleshooting
Experience with IT Service Management ticketing software (SCSM, Remedy or ServiceNow)
