Summary of Position:
Our team is looking for a senior systems engineer who is a strong technical leader with the drive to utilize the latest in technology and someone who can think outside the box. Our systems engineer should be a self-starter with an eye for process improvement and be well-versed in each stage of the systems life cycle as well as maintaining the security and integrity of our systems. In addition, as part of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for deploying new product updates on our customer facing websites.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage Server Enterprise Environment consisting of Windows Server and Linux
Manage VMware (and Hyper-V) virtualization environments
Maintain and administrate Storage Area Network Technologies 3PAR experience a plus
Monitor Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix, and ElasticSearch alerts and respond in a timely manner
Administer VOIP Phone system- 3CX
Maintain and build images on AWS and Azure Clouds
Sharing and handling DevOps tasks- work with DevOps team as necessary for system builds
Deploying code updates to our public facing staging and production systems on a biweekly basis
Patch systems using GFI and Kaseya on a monthly basis
Be part of an after hours cover rotation on call every 3 weeks
Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years experience managing IT systems in a wide area network environment
Proven ability to solve problems using data and root cause analysis
Experience with Office365 Application Administration and Support
Active Directory administration
AWS, Azure, and Office365 experience
Windows imaging and device management using Windows Deployment Services, Intune (MS Endpoint Manager), Kaseya VSA, Malwarebytes, and Puppet
Proven experience developing and deploying solutions and standards
Understanding of industry standard security methodologies
Azure Conditional Access policies
Understanding of ITIL management methodologies
PowerShell scripting
Microsoft, Security, or other IT Certifications a plus
Cisco Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi, and Firewalls a plus
Experience with security compliances a plus (SOC-II, Ferpa, FedRamp, PCI, etc.)
Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week
