The Communications function at Northrop Grummans historic Space Park (https://www.laconservancy.org/locations/northrop-grumman) campus in Redondo Beach, CA is looking for a talented SharePoint Developer to create customized intranet SharePoint solutions for our company.

The ideal candidate will provide Microsoft SharePoint development and content management support across supported intranet private networks and web applications contained within the company being used to securely share computing resources among employees. This candidate will have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office web development tools, basic understanding of front-end programming languages, and the ability to create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet company intranet design and functionality requirements.

In this role as a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, creating design schemes, applying development, coordinating user testing, securing approval, scheduling deployment, and post-production quality assurance.

**This role will require to report to worksite located in Redondo Beach, CA at our Redondo Beach Space Park Campus.** **May be able to move to a hybrid schedule with part-time telecommuting based on program requirements and business needs.**

**What youll do:**

+ Define SharePoint web development scope, provide development support, and update and maintain intranet site collections for various company programs and operating units
+ Provide SharePoint administration and content management support, update navigation architecture, links structure, and news bulletins changes
+ Conduct day-to-day intranet operations, including site administration and content planning/creation
+ Create fully deployable solutions for all custom SharePoint applications
+ Create and publish technical writing content, SOPs, How To guides, testing plans, and corporate communications content under supervision of Manager
+ Provide estimate level of effort required for all design, development, deployment, and testing
+ Inventory pages on corporate external website that originated from our business unit, determine which team member is responsible for content on those pages, assess current status of content on those pages, and implement an ongoing reporting system that ensures all pages are updated on a regular basis

**Skills youll need:**

+ Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 web development tools, applications, webparts, and templates
+ Intermediate understanding of SharePoint site collections organization and structure
+ Experience with SharePoint Online Modern and Classic template development and design
+ Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
+ Knowledge of web services and services-oriented architecture
+ Strong intranet management experience, including working within an intranet content management system
+ Experience in content development and execution strategies
+ Strong writing and verbal communication skills
+ Understanding of software and hardware requirements of varied departmental systems
+ High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
+ A high level of attention to detail
+ Ability to think strategically, apply organizational skills and work in a collaborative team environment
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
+ Ability to work with senior business leaders and across different stakeholder groups to drive consensus
+ Basic understanding of graphic design and experience designing content and solutions that adhere to corporate brand standards.
+ Ability to adapt to cultural differences and work in a global environment

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors degree from accredited institution with 5 years minimum of related professional experience developing corporate intranet content on SharePoint platforms OR a Masters degree with 3 years of related experience developing corporate intranet content on SharePoint platforms OR a PhD with 1 year minimum of related experience developing corporate intranet content on SharePoint platforms
+ Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite.

Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
