The Software Engineer (Software Engineering Advisor) you will be responsible interacting with different areas of software development such as Event Driven Architecture, Microservices, Databases, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
Write Java and C# code for backend processes.
Work with SQL databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Write RESTful APIs to facilitate the flow of data through our system.
Work with cloud resources in Microsoft Azure for software maintenance and deployment.
Interact with other teams within eviCore to troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years Software Development, or similar experience.
1+ years Java or C# development experience.
1+ years working with SQL.
1+ years using and developing REST APIs.
Exposure to Cloud Computing experience; Microsoft Azure is preferred.
Exposure to Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
3+ years Java Development w/ Spring or C# Development preferred.
1+ years working with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker preferred.
1+ years Cloud Computing experience preferred.
Experience with Microservice architecture preferred.
Experience with APIs specific to the health care domain, e.g. FHIR, HL7, X12 278 preferred.
Familiarity with event driven technologies and architecture, e.g. Kafka preferred.
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, such as EPIC or Athena preferred.
General Healthcare/Insurance industry experience (Prior-Authorization familiarity)
Working in Agile environment/team preferred.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $95,900 - $159,800, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
