Als Software Engineer sind sie Teil eines globalen Teams bei GE Healthcare Austria. Zusammen mit ihren KollegInnen sind sie im Bereich Software Entwicklung fr die Voluson Ultraschallgerte ttig und arbeiten eng mit anderen Abteilungen wie z.B. Hardware Entwicklung und klinischem Produktmanagement zusammen.



As software engineer you are a member of a global team at GE Healthcare Austria. You are part of the software engineering team for Voluson Ultrasound systems and you work in close cooperation with e.g. the hardware engineering team and the clinical product management.

**Software Engineer (m/w/d)**



**bersicht**



+ Entwicklung, Implementierung, Dokumentation und Verifikation von Software Modulen fr diagnostische Ultraschallsysteme

+ Realisierung innovativer Ideen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen SystementwicklerInnen und projektbezogene Kooperation mit externen F & E Partnern.

+ Weiterentwicklung einer Software fr Ultraschall Systeme basierend auf Microsoft Visual Studio



+ Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung und Erprobung von Algorithmen fr oben genannte Systeme



**Profil**



+ eine technische Ausbildung (Universitt, FH, HTL) im Bereich SW Engineering, Medizintechnik, Informatik, Mathematik oder Telematik.

+ Programmierkenntnisse und Erfahrung in C/C++ unter Verwendung von Microsoft Visual Studio.

+ Kenntnisse in folgenden Bereichen sind von Vorteil:

+ Programmierkenntnisse in C#, .net, MFC, WPF, Javascript

+ GPU Programmierung in Direct3D, CUDA oder OpenCL

+ Erfahrung in der Parallelisierung von Algorithmen (Multicore, SSE/AVX, GPU)

+ Erfahrung in Signal- und Bildverarbeitung

+ Selbststndigkeit und analytisches Denken

+ die Fhigkeit, dich in bergreifenden Teams gut zurechtzufinden und herausfordernde Aufgaben zielorientiert zu lsen.

+ Einsatzbereitschaft und Freude an der Arbeit in einem weltweit agierenden Konzern.

+ Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Medizinprodukten ist hilfreich

+ sehr gute Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab.

**Overview**



+ Development, implementation, documentation and verification of software modules for diagnostic ultrasound systems.

+ Realize innovative ideas together with local system engineers and with external R&D partners based on project oriented cooperation



+ Enhance and refine interfaces for ultrasound hardware based on Microsoft Visual Studio

**Profile**



+ Technical education (University, University of applied science, Higher Technical Institute) in computer science, software or medical engineering, mathematics or telematics.
