Contribution to the product:

You will be part of an advanced R&D engineering team pushing the envelope of software Test Management. This team and product have already taken leadership for the last 5 years per Gartners Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave report and is not slowing down. You will leverage state of the art cloud-native technology as the entire product runs on a Kubernetes platform enabling write once, run anywhere. qTest is offered as a SaaS in AWS and runs in customer-managed environments on-premise or other clouds.

What will you do:

As a software engineer, you will build new functionality as we break down the system into more microservices and deploy at the speed of GitOps to delight customers.We are looking to build a new software agile team. This team generally benefits by having experience with the following technology skills; however, we encourage all Java / open-source engineers, operators, and testers to apply:

• Proven AWS Cloud Service experience or awareness of Azure and GCP

• Service development using Java (1.8+) with Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Go Lang, ReST APIs, Pub/Sub streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, NATS, Kubemq)

• Developing and running Containers on any Kubernetes platform (e.g., AWS EKS, OpenShift, Azure AKS, Google GKE, Pivotal, Rancher

Some people may specialize in the following:

• DevOps and GitOps awareness with tools like Helm3 and either ArgoCD or Flagger/Flux

• General frontend development using Angular / Dojo / React

• Observability (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Kiali, EFK, etc)

• Container Security and Access Control via OAuth2.0/OIDC/SAML/LDAP protocols

Qualification:

• 5+ years of experience overall working as a Software Developer

• Bachelors or Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent preferred

• Desire to achieve

• Impressive development skills and proven track record

Optional Certifications:
