SAIC is seeking a Senior-level Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center-Pacific (NIWC-PAC), in San Diego, CA.

This position’s focus is on advancing the current technologies for vulnerability remediation and asset management. The candidates for this position will be responsible for supporting data feed ingestion effort on NCSA. This duties of this role include:

• Creating new data feeds using Azkaban flows that fetch data from external API's or internal spreadsheets

• Converting the data to a format which can be ingested into Splunk (such as JSON or CSV)

• Creating automated processes to routinely pull the latest set of data for each data feed.

• Creating new Splunk indexes 

• Writing Golang converter code to extract data from formats such as Excel.

• Daily work will be onsite at the government customer's facilities in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

***This position REQUIRES U.S. citizenship and, at minimum, an interim DoD secret-level clearance. All candidates without an active clearance will be immediately disqualified.***

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

• Minimum BS degree in related field and at least five (5) years of experience in skills identified below

• Minimum security clearance level of SECRET 

• Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF), IAT Level II 

• Experience ingesting data from differring sources into Splunk

• Creating data feeds using Azkaban or similar tools 

• Integrating tools using API's

• Determining required data formats and implementing conversion methods use between tools

• Experience using Golang or other language to manipulate code and data for extraction and use in other tools and formats
