Job Description
HII is searching for qualified candidates to contribute to a software reverse engineering effort involving Windows, Linux, and embedded systems software in support of DoD mission critical problems. We are looking for a dynamic, self-directed individual who enjoys new and rapid challenges in a range of mission and technology areas. The successful candidate will be able to anticipate program needs and engineer innovative solutions as part of a fast-paced reverse engineering team. This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Internships are available to help students gain real-world experience in the work force. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership. Support the Engineering team with engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical. Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with up to 20% of the required credits completed.
Preferred Requirements
+ Cybersecurity Experience
+ C/C++ software development experience
+ Software Reverse Engineering experience using industry standard RE tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, etc.)
+ Embedded systems familiarity (ARM, RISCV, DSP, microcontrollers, etc.)
+ FPGA familiarity
+ Mobile Operating Systems
+ GUI development experience
+ Python experience
+ Linux experience
Physical Requirements
Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
