Who are we?
Intel Vision Technology Group (VTG), Intel's Computer Vision Center of Excellence, is looking for a Software engineering student to join our Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) Research and Development SW team.
Our Research and Development team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art AMR 3D cameras that set the stage for groundbreaking innovations. Our goal is to help our customers to power up and boost industrial and operational robotics automation by providing them a smarter depth camera with the capability to see, analyze and make independent decisions in real time.
As a SW team, we've taken over the challenge to bring up the full software stack of VTG's AMR platform. Our platform includes the 3D camera's SDK, applications, firmware, drivers, edge and cloud services, which really means working on a new and exciting robotics field with multiple SW engineering disciplines and growth opportunities.

What will you do?
As a Software engineering student, you will work with our engineers to contribute all over our SW stack throughout our 3D camera SDK and drivers, our continuous integration and deployment environments, as well as depth post processing algorithms.



Qualifications


Required Qualifications
- Pursuing B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science
- At least 2 years until graduation
- Experience with object-oriented and C++ programming
- Good familiarity with data structures, problem-solving through algorithms and complexity analysis
- Good verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on experience with Git/gerrit/Jenkins/CI
- Image processing background

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
